🅰️HK Lesson #12: Using QAP to get the best out of 🅰utoHotkey!

Hello,

AutoHotkey is an amazing language however, for a lot of people, they have very simple needs.  For instance the first 2-3 years I used AutoHotkey I basically had two uses.  Hotkeys and HotStrings.

Hotkeys are great ways to launch ‘things’ (Programs, Scripts, Apps, Folders, Websites, Documents, etc.).  They can save you a ton of time getting started on projects (especially because you can launch multiple things with one click).

HotStrings are great ways to have templates of text at your fingertips.  I always refer to them as “the hidden gem” of AutoHotkey.  Many people don’t use them but nearly everyone should!

But what if there was a way for you to have access to both, without learning how to program?  What if there was a GUI tool that well organized with menus?  And what if that tool was available in 10 languages and FREE❗

I’m referring to Quick Access Popup / QAP.  Quick Access Popup is an amazing tool with more functionality than you’d ever need!  It’s written in AutoHotkey however you don’t need to know any programming to use it.

In this video I speak with Jean Lalonde, the developer of Quick Access Popup.

Learn some more benefits about Quick Access Popup here.

QAP is an amazing tool especially for people that are not up to learning how to code…

If you’re need something simpler than QAP, then check out our Prompt Assistant Tool. It allows you to Import/Export your menus easily!

Trust me.  It is an amazing “must have” tool.  So much so that, even though I’m and advanced AutoHotkey user, I still use QAP dozens of times every day!
