I’m reading this book from Parthiv Shah & Dan Kennedy (which I do recommend)
One part in particular was very helpful for me.
I realized (because I use Mailgun for sending all my emails) I can track the links that people click.
And, guess what, Certain links are more important than others!
For instance, if someone clicks a link to consultation, our scheduling calendar, or done for you work, I should be following up with them (Regardless if they actually reached out to us or not).
I’m willing to bet 95% of people that click those links (for one reason or another) don’t follow through.
Here’s a key thing to realize: even the best Website tracking systems are underwhelmingly helpful if a person doesn’t fill in a form letting you know exactly who they are.
At Texas Instruments we had very expensive systems for tracking people (usually by cookies) however it was always pathetic when it came to identifying them!
When you do it through your email tracking links you know which email account clicked the link!
This is where we can now add them to a follow-up campaign where we automate emails, texts, and even call them!
The point is: these people “raised their hands” to indicate they were interested.
And, most importantly, they are interested now which is one of the hardest things to identify.
So we’re building a new query hitting the mailgun activity tables watching for clicks to specific links.
The above links all indicate interest in us helping them solve a problem however I’ll build separate follow-up campaigns for those that click our each of our AutoHotkey courses.
If you’re not regularly emailing your clients; you should!
If you are regularly emailing them, then this is a “must do“
You can have “squeeze pages” for downloads / free reports and you should use those to drive follow-up campaigns however, by only doing this, you’re missing out on a TON of people because, even the best downloads, typically only get completed by 30% of people that visit the page.

Often we spend way too much time on “the masses” hoping someone will bite.
Creating these systems let you focus on a small subset that have basically told you “I want to know more now“.
I guarantee you, these are far more likely to be open to talking to you.
And of course the best part is they are scalable. I’m not going to say the follow-up campaigns are a “set it and forget it” thing but you definitely can build them and be far-less hand’s off.

I heard Amazon had released it’s own LLM models and was trying to figure out how to develop with them when I learned about PartyRock.aws.
It’s not the “sexiest” design however, given how flexible it is, its got a lot of potential!

Quick Test of Gemini 1.5
I did a little testing of using Google’s Gemini model for creating valid AutoHotkey v2 code. It’s not as good as Claude but it does have potential!
You can check out my testing in this video. Given all the other advances Google made in the last 2 weeks I’m definitely going to keep my eye on them!

I was on a call with a client and the developer of the program we’re helping automate. He mentioned he was working on a “new release” of the program.
I thought it was prudent to mention we do everything we can to not use image search however there were a few items we are having to use image search when automating their program and asked if he could possibly add something to the elements to allow us to avoid this.
He said he probably could❗ This will be a game-changer for our automations!
Remember: the answer is always no unless you ask!
