You’re probably very familiar with “Marketing Automation”.

This is why Marketing Automation has become a “must do” amongst businesses however all the same principles apply to our daily work .

When we focus on how we perform tasks we can build systems (often with AutoHotkey) that reduce the randomness that humans introduce to a process .

Using AutoHotkey is “putting logic” to your work.

You’re “systemizing” the approach which means, not only will it be done faster, but it will be done more consistently.

So I recommend you examine your workflow seeing what you do frequently.

I introduced a client of ours to Get Active Path the other day.   Like me he’s often in MS Word or Excel and getting the path to those files is a pain!  Of course our tool works in other programs but those two alone are such a pain that it was totally worth it for him!

P.S. Examining what you do during a process can be difficult and time consuming however, once you have it nailed-down, creating a system is much, much easier.

While it takes more time up-front, it saves you a crazy amount of time in the long run because, going forward you are “freed-up” to spend your valuable time on other things.

Automating the mundane is our tagline but the real reward our client’s get is the extra time they have after we’ve created a script for their process.
