It’s slow. You’re babysitting a browser tab, retyping the same description, picking the same settings over and over, and hoping you don’t accidentally close the wrong window halfway through.

How it works

Connect your channel. You sign in with Google (the normal “Sign in with Google” screen) and approve Publish-Assistant to upload to your channel. Takes about ten seconds.
Pick your video and fill in the details. Title, description, tags, privacy setting. Save presets so you’re not retyping.
Upload. Publish-Assistant sends the file straight to YouTube and shows you the progress.

The cool thing is your sign-in stays on your computer. We don’t run a server that holds your Google account. Your sign-in tokens are stored locally and encrypted with Windows’ built-in protection.

What Publish-Assistant can and can’t touch

Let’s be straight about permissions, because you should always know what an app is doing with your account.

✅ It can upload videos to your channel. That’s the whole point.
❌ It can’t read your existing videos, playlists, or analytics. It only uploads.
❌ It can’t read your Gmail, Drive, or contacts. It never asks for them.
❌ It doesn’t sell or share your data. There’s nobody to sell it to. It’s your machine, your channel, your video.

You can disconnect anytime, from inside the app or from your Google Account permissions page.
