Good to know: Blackmagic Design has no shortcut web page (only the large reference manual PDF), so these keys are the ones two independent Resolve 18 to 21 lists agree on. Your own copy shows every key under DaVinci Resolve > Keyboard Customization (Ctrl + Alt + K).

Good to know: Mac uses Cmd instead of Ctrl and Option instead of Alt.

Want One Key to Do More?

Built-in shortcuts only work while DaVinci Resolve is the active window, and you can’t add new ones. These tools let you pick your own hotkeys:

  • Prompt Assistant: paste your standard video description, end-screen text, or title card wording with a hotkey you pick
  • Second Keyboard Manager: turn a spare number keypad into a cheap edit pad for blade, markers and page switching
  • YouTuber Tools: more of our picks for people who record and edit videos
