By downloading, installing, or using Publish-Assistant, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the software.
1. What Publish-Assistant does
Publish-Assistant is a Windows desktop application that uploads your video files to your own YouTube channel using the official YouTube Data API. You connect your Google account, and Publish-Assistant uploads on your behalf.
2. Your account and your responsibility
- You must own or be authorized to manage the YouTube channel you connect.
- You are responsible for the content you upload, including making sure you have the rights to it and that it complies with YouTube’s rules.
- You agree not to use Publish-Assistant to upload content that is illegal, infringing, or that violates the YouTube Terms of Service or YouTube Community Guidelines.
3. YouTube and Google terms apply
Publish-Assistant uses YouTube API Services. By using Publish-Assistant you are also agreeing to the YouTube Terms of Service and acknowledging the Google Privacy Policy. Your use of the YouTube API through Publish-Assistant is subject to those terms. How Publish-Assistant itself handles your data is covered in the Publish-Assistant Privacy Policy.
4. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Publish-Assistant according to the plan you purchased or the terms of your download. You may not:
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute Publish-Assistant without written permission.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
- Use Publish-Assistant to break YouTube’s rules or any applicable law.
5. Payment and refunds
- Publish-Assistant is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. You pay once and own your license. There are no recurring charges.
- 100% satisfaction guarantee: If you’re not satisfied within 30 days of purchase, contact us at [email protected], cancel your account, and we’ll issue a full refund. No hassle.
- Pricing and payment terms are shown at the point of purchase.
6. Availability and third-party dependence
Publish-Assistant depends on the YouTube Data API, which is operated by Google and can change, impose quotas, or become unavailable at any time. We don’t control YouTube or Google, and we can’t guarantee uninterrupted upload capability if their services change or go down.
7. No warranty
Publish-Assistant is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don’t guarantee that every upload will succeed, that the software is error-free, or that it will meet every need.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the-Automator / Joe Glines is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost revenue, or lost uploads, arising from your use of Publish-Assistant. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Publish-Assistant.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your license if you violate these Terms. You can stop using Publish-Assistant at any time by uninstalling it and revoking its access to your Google account.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The current version will always be posted on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
