For years I’d have a weird problem where I’d download a file from the Internet and I’d get really weird characters and have to spend hours adjusting the file manually.
Now that I’m “a programmer” I understand what is going on. Many websites / tools don’t properly at a “BOM” (Byte Order Mark) which helps Windows computers understand the encoding (especially if it is UTF-8 format).
Our executable can easily correct this oversight and works nearly instantaneously!
All I can say is I wish I had this tool YEARS ago!
