IconMaker: Turn Any Character Into a Crisp Icon, One at a Time or Hundreds at Once
Need a quick icon for a script, a shortcut, or an app but don’t want to open Photoshop or hunt through icon packs? IconMaker lets you type a letter, number, or symbol, pick a font and colors, and export a pixel-perfect PNG or true Windows ICO file. Need a whole set? Its Batch mode churns out dozens or hundreds of matching icons in a single click.

Batch Mode: A Whole Icon Set in One Click
Building icons for an A–Z toolbar, every function key, or a numbered set of shortcuts? Don’t make them one by one. Flip to the Batch tab, define your character set once, and IconMaker generates the whole collection, every icon sharing the same font, colors, and size.
- One-click character sets: built-in KeyList presets for lowercase (a–z), uppercase (A–Z), digits (0–9), alphanumeric, punctuation, and F-keys or type your own comma-separated list.
- Combine or list mode: generate one icon per item, or automatically combine your set into every 1-, 2-, and 3-character permutation.
- Both cases at once: tick a box to include UPPER and lower case variants together.
- Live count: a running “will generate N icons” readout updates as you tweak the set so there are no surprises.
- PNG, ICO, or both: pick your formats and IconMaker writes them all in one pass.
- Zip it up: optionally pack the entire batch into a single tidy
.zipinstead of loose files, with a progress bar and one-click “Open Folder.”
How It Works
- Type the character(s) you want, say A, $, or ★ or load a set in the Batch tab.
- Choose a font and set your colors.
- Pick your output size and format(s).
- Save a single icon or generate the whole batch with a clear overwrite prompt so you never clobber a file by accident.
