Paste Into AI Chats Without Leaking Personal Info
You copy a log file, an error message or a customer email and paste it into an AI chat, a support ticket or a message to a vendor. Buried in that text are email addresses, phone numbers, maybe a card number or a Social Security number, and once you hit Enter they are gone for good. Personal Info Scrubber fixes that: Strip SSNs, emails, card numbers, phone numbers and IP addresses from any text in one click, before you paste it into an AI chat, a support ticket or an email.
Your Own Words, Scrubbed Too
Add your own words and phrases, like names, client names or project codes, and they get scrubbed too. Click My words…, type one word or phrase per row, and each one is replaced with [CUSTOM-REDACTED] wherever it appears, ignoring upper and lower case.
What It Does
One click cleans your clipboard
Copy any text, click Scrub clipboard, and the cleaned version goes straight back on the clipboard, ready to paste anywhere. A short notice tells you what was replaced, for example “Replaced: 2 emails, 1 phone”.

Tick or untick any category and the tool remembers your choice next time.
Smart about card numbers
Card numbers are checked with the same checksum banks use, so long order numbers and tracking numbers are left alone instead of being blanked out by mistake.
Scrub from any program with Ctrl+Shift+S
Turn on the hotkey from the tray menu and press Ctrl+Shift+S in any program to clean the clipboard without opening the window. Closing the window hides it to the tray, so the hotkey keeps working.
See the before and after
The Input and Output boxes show the original and the cleaned text side by side, so you can read it before you paste. Prefer to leave the clipboard alone? Paste into Input and click Scrub text, then Copy output when you are happy.
Nothing leaves your PC
Everything runs on your own computer. Nothing is uploaded, and the values it removes are never written to disk. It only tells you how many items it replaced.
