AHK Studio editor for AutoHotkeyI had an in-depth Hangout with Chad Wilson (Maestrith on the forum), the Author and Designer of AHK Studio.   Check out my AHK Studio tutorials here

While I’ve been, and still am, a very satisfied SciTE4AHK user, I was very impressed with many aspects of the tool.  It is very intuitive to use and offers some great features that will simplify a coding.  Not surprisingly AHK Studio is loaded with HotKeys that, once you familiarize yourself with them, will be awesome!  While advanced programmers in AutoHotkey will love the advanced functionality, Noobs will enjoy it’s simplicity.

Update:  If you’re working in v2, we’ve created  our own fork of AHK Studio which will allow you to open and run AutoHotkey v2 files in AHK Studio.   (Note AHK studio is still written in v1 so you will need to have v1 on the computer)

Here are links where you can you can download it from the AHK forum or from GitHub.  Please keep in mind it is still in development.  (This is both good and bad.  It is good because Chad is very active and open to tweaks/fixes/improvements, bad because “kinks” are never fun)

Here are a few videos on AHK Studio  and below is the nearly 2-hour video demonstrating some of the configuration settings and functionality.

Similarities in payment distributions by Industry

Payment Distributions

In 2010 a national study across various industries examined payment distributions by industry.  The below additive tree shows the correlations  by Industry.  When reading an additive tree, follow the path from between the lines.  The shorter the distance, the higher correlated they are.  Color-coding was done to aide interpretation of the tree and is subjective.  I used SYSTAT to create tree.

In reviewing the tree below you can see that, overall, there are two main branches that split at the root.  After that, there are some pretty clear patterns.

You would think it would be easy to determine what criteria to use for targeting customers that have visited specific pages on our website.  Unfortunately, it isn’t easy to get the values I need for the query so I wrote a script that automated grabbing what I need from the Web Scraping your own site.

Obviously you will have to adapt the overall concept to how your site is configured however my script has saved me, and my clients, thousands of hours over the past couple of years!

You can review some of my scripts that help automate web scraping here.
